Note on servicing (please read)Booking your service
Please book your bicycle in for servicing in advance either in store or by phone. We only carry out servicing work Monday—Friday and during peak times we book about 1 week in advance. Also be sure to give us a daytime contact number so as we can contact you in the event of a problem occurring with your bicycle during servicing.
Deposits
Occasionally we may ask for a deposit for us to begin work on your bike. We only do this in cases where we believe the cost of the repair is in excess of the value of the bike. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Collecting Your Bike
Sadly we do not have limitless space therefore we ask you to collect your bike promptly. If you do leave your bike here for more than 10 days after any work has been completed your bike will be subjected to a £2 per day storage charge. Bicycles left with us for more than 3 months will be disposed of.
During December we ask that you bring in and collect your bike the same day this is due to large levels of Christmas stock and very limited space. If this is not possible we will be happy to book your bike in for January.
And Finally...
Please ensure that your bicycle is clean enough for us to service, if it isn't your bicycle may not have the work carried out on it or it may be subjected to our £15 cleaning charge.
Prices given are estimates, we do aim for these however sometimes extra work required to complete a service so please understand if your service costs slightly more than you were quoted. We always attempt to phone in these circumstances
We will not carry out part repair work if a bicycle will be left in an unroadworthy or dangerous state[/p
*Providing transmission is clean enough to carry out this check
